On the Mississippi Gulf Coast we encounter many critters. Much of our beaches and islands are wildlife preserve. In high school they offered Marine Biology as a course. Of course I took it! We got to go down to the harbor and net for Fish to put in our aquariums in class. My favorite two catches were Seahorses and a Sting ray. Sting Rays are so graceful and such beautiful shy creatures. The seahorses shocked me because I had no idea they were so small! Adorable and the were in the tank behind my desk! This is something we never see- Mermaids. My ex-husband is a Merchant Marine. He has traveled the entire world on the ocean. If they were out there- he would have seen them! I have loved watching the TV show Siren! Fun. This project is super easy. A mosaic Mermaid.
